ARC Review: The Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morganthaler

Hey y’all! I’ve caved and downloaded TikTok. I feel really old for that app BUT there seem to be so many people in the same boat as me, so it’s actually way more fun than I thought? And by that I mean for the past week and a half, I’ve been watching TikToks from 9pm to midnight pretty much every night as well as during the day whenever I can (and it’s cutting into my reading time, so I really need to CONTROL myself). I haven’t actually made my own TikTok yet, but it’ll (maybe?) happen at somepoint!

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for granting my wish and letting me read and review the Tourist Attraction by Sarah Morganthaler early! It was super cute and I really enjoyed it! The Tourist Attraction comes out on May 5th, so make sure you check it out then.

The Tourist Attraction 4/5 Stars

Summary from Goodreads: When Graham Barnett named his diner The Tourist Trap, he meant it as a joke. Now he’s stuck slinging reindeer dogs to an endless string of resort visitors who couldn’t interest him less. Not even the sweet, enthusiastic tourist in the corner who blushes every time he looks her way…

Two weeks in Alaska isn’t just the top item on Zoey Caldwell’s bucket list. It’s the whole bucket. One look at the mountain town of Moose Springs and she’s smitten. But when an act of kindness brings Zoey into Graham’s world, she may just find there’s more to the man than meets the eye…and more to love in Moose Springs than just the Alaskan wilderness.

I thought that Zoey and Graham were super cute and I loved the town of Moose Springs! I’ve been reading so many romance novels right now and this one was one of the super cute ones. I love how Graham was so against tourists (thinking they were ruining his town) but he was friends with Lana even though she was definitely a tourist and he fell in love with Zoey- breaking down preconceived notions for the win! Zoey saving up for so long to come on this trip to Moose Springs and for it to turn out so amazing was adorable and it makes me want to pack up my bags and go on a trip like that (maybe I’ll find love in a small town lol). I also really liked Jake and Ulysses, the moose. All in all, this was an adorable romance novel that I think anyone would love to read! I can’t wait to read book two when it comes out!
