Blast From the Past Series: My 2017 Least Favorites

Ahh time for my least favorites of 2017. This is one of the posts that I’m the most scared to post because I know how subjective these kinds of things are and I’m so worried about getting a bunch of hate, but at the same time, these are only my opinions and I know that there are other people who loved these books. This doesn’t mean that I think they’re trash or anything, this just means that I didn’t enjoy them or they weren’t books that I would tell Bee that she needs to read. Again, take my thoughts with a grain of salt, because I know of SO MANY people who liked every one of the books I’m going to list below.

Before She Ignites: This book was fine. Like there was nothing special about it now that I think back on it. It was ok to read, but would I read it again or tell someone else to read it/have I picked up any of the other books in the series? I have not. I do love the cover though.

Spellbook of the Lost and Found: I thought this book started out really promising but maybe like ⅓ of the way through or ½ way through, I got really lost and confused and it was hard to get back into the book once I was lost. I was lost and never found.

Labyrinth Lost: This is another one where I really liked it at the beginning but then I lost the trail of the book somewhere in the middle and I got lost in the second half and was never found again.

Of Fire and Stars: I didn’t really like any of the characters in this book, so it was hard to really care about what was happening to them or want anyone else to care about what was happening to them.

Again, these were my 4 least favorite books from 2017- I’m sure y’all have read some of these and absolutely loved them and honestly, if that’s the case, let me know! It’s been long enough from 2017 that maybe it’s time for me to give some of these another chance.
