Happy Tuesday y’all! I have been in such a reading/reviewing slump lately- mainly because I started reading an eARC a couple of weeks ago and I had a really hard time getting into it and I’m still only about 30% into it and I’m about to DNF it. That has nothing to do with this book, because I loved both The Light at the Bottom of the World and Journey to the Heart of the Abyss, but that’s why I’ve been kinda MIA for a little while.
ANYWAY, back to more important things! Happy release day to Journey to the Heart of the Abyss and thank you so much to TBR and Beyond Tours for having me as a part of their Journey to the Heart of the Abyss tour and thank you so much to LBYR for sponsoring this tour! Make sure y’all check out all of the other great stops on this tour too!
Happy Thursday y’all! I hope everyone’s doing well! I’m taking a much needed day off- no apple picking though because the weather’s gross, but I’m going to be running a bunch of errands and relaxing, so I think that’s worth it for sure.
Thank you so much to Tor and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of A Spindle Splintered! I’ve heard such great things about Alix Harrow’s books, so I was super excited to read this one. I didn’t realize how short it was until I started reading it (I think it’s only about like 130 or so pages), but I didn’t feel like it was short while the story was being told, so that was amazing! A Spindle Splintered came out on October 5th (along with like a bazillion other incredible books), so make sure you go out and grab it after you read my review!
Happy Wednesday y’all! It’s super cloudy here today and I was supposed to go apple picking tomorrow, but it’s supposed to storm in the mountains where the orchard I always go to is, so it’s looking like I’m going to have to skip the apple picking and grab them from a farm stand or the grocery store.
So many books came out yesterday, so I have a review for another one of them ready to go for y’all today. I really enjoyed the other books I read by Mara Rutherford, so I was very excited to give Luminous a go! Thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book.
You know how sometimes you read a book that’s just so incredibly amazing and then you kind of don’t know what to do with yourself afterwards? I felt that way when I read Where Dreams Descend last year and it happened again when I finished When Night Breaks. Thank you so much to Wednesday books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book! Make sure y’all go out and grab this one tomorrow (and if you haven’t read Where Dreams Descend yet, make sure you grab that one first since it’s the first book in the duology and you’ll 100% be lost without it).
Happy Sunday y’all! I hope everyone’s been having a good weekend so far. Mine has been great because I spent a good amount of time yesterday reading an incredible book- which y’all are about to hear all about because today’s my stop on the Vespertine tour by Turn the Page tours! Thank you so much to Turn the Page tours for having me as a part of this tour and thank you so much to Margaret K. McElderry Books for sponsoring this tour and sending me an eARC and a beautiful finished copy early! Also, along with this great blog tour, up for grabs is two (2) copies of VESPERTINE by Margaret Rogerson, one a physical finished copy and one a digital copy. Open USA only. This giveaway is open through October 9th, so make sure you enter it ASAP!
Happy Thursday y’all! Ahhh I cannot believe that we’re on our last day of September! Only one quarter left in this year, which is crazy because it feels like 2021 just started! Thank you so much to Forever/Grand Central Publishing for sending me a free finished copy of The Inn on Sweetbriar Lane and for approving my request for the eARC on Netgalley! I started reading the finished copy of this book but then transitioned to the eARC, because sometimes it’s just easier to read on my phone haha The Inn on Sweetbriar Lane came out on September 28, so make sure you go out and grab it as soon as you’re done reading my review!
Happy Wednesday y’all! Man, I’m exhausted and I definitely do not want to be doing anything but napping today, but someone’s gotta work (and take breaks from working by writing blog posts). Thankfully, I have an adorable book to review, so this post is not going to be hard to write at all! Thank you so much to Forever/Grand Central Publishing and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of No Ordinary Christmas. This book came out yesterday (September 28th), so make sure y’all go out and grab it as soon as you’re done with my review!
Happy Tuesday y’all! And happy release day to Eight Perfect Hours! Thank you so much to Atria/Emily Bestler Books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book. Definitely go out and grab this book (as soon as y’all have read my review)!
Two posts in one day?! What is the world coming to! I was actually trying to have this post written and published yesterday, but unfortunately, my brother and sister in law were over for most of the day, so I had no time at all to finish writing it.
Thank you so much to Fierce Reads/Macmillan Children’s and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC or Lakesedge! I hadn’t actually read anything really about this book before I read it, but I was obsessed with the cover, so I was the most excited to read it, and I think y’all will be too! Lakesedge comes out on September 28th, so make sure y’all go out and grab it!
Happy Monday y’all! Man, this weekend went by so quickly and I really did not want to start the week again today. I wanted to sleep in a little and read books and not have to work at all, but unfortunately, the pitfalls of being a person in society means that we have to get up and get ready and do productive things (at least for a little while). Besides being a Monday, today’s a super exciting day because it’s my stop on the Beasts and Beauty: Dangerous Tales tour with Turn the Page Tours! I’m so excited for this tour because I love fairy tales, so reading different, slightly darker takes on them was super fun! This book came out on the 21st, so make sure you run and grab it as soon as you’re done reading my post 🙂 Also! Turn the Page Tours has the awesome opportunity for someone in the US to win 1 finished copy of Beasts and Beauty: dangerous Tales. This Giveaway ends tomorrow, September 28, so make sure you enter it ASAP!
