ARC Review: Edgewood by Kristen Ciccarelli

Happy Tuesday y’all! I really wanted to read and review Edgewood last week (you know, when it actually came out), but then life got in the way, so instead, I’m reviewing it for y’all today! Thank you so much to Wednesday Books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Edgewood! This book was so good and different and I really loved it!

ARC Review: Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey

Happy Wednesday y’all! Man, it has been a busy couple of weeks! I was at a girl’s trip in the mountains all of last week and I had all these plans to read so many books (well, 4-5 books really) but I barely read like 60 pages while I was there! We did so much during the day that I was always too exhausted to even consider picking up a book at night! So then, of course, when I got back on Saturday night, I had a stack of eARCs that needed to be read ASAP since they were coming out yesterday (March 1st)! One of the ones from that stack was Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey. I absolutely loved book one in this series (It Happened One Summer) so I was the most excited to read Hook, Line, and Sinker! Thank you so much to Avon and Netgalley for letting me read the eARC!

ARC Review: A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross

Happy Tuesday y’all! And happy release day to A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross! So many amazing books came out today and I had a really long list of ones I needed to read, but the only one I actually was able to read was A River Enchanted (and I started it yesterday evening after work and was done by the time I needed to go to bed, so that’s a sign of how much I really enjoyed this book). Thank you so much to Harper Voyager and Netgalley for letting me read this book! I definitely enjoyed the other books I’ve read by Rebecca Ross, so I was expecting to enjoy this one too, but just a heads up, it’s for sure darker than her YA books (which makes sense, since it is an adult fantasy).

ARC Review: Castles in Their Bones by Laura Sebastian

Thank you so much to Delacorte Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Castles in Their Bones! This book was my first 5 star read of the year, which is a big deal since it was the 16th book I read this year! If you haven’t already picked up Castles in Their Bones or put it on your TBR list, you NEED to do that! Also, let’s talk about how amazing that cover is- so gorgeous! I want someone to do my hair like that all the time please.

ARC Review: In Every Generation by Kendare Blake

Thank you so much to Disney-Hyperion and Netgalley for letting me read an ARC of In Every Generation! I’ve never actually seen an episode of Buffy, but I’ve always wanted to be a Buffy person, so I would like read people’s discussions about the show on Tumblr and all the Gifs, so I feel like I kinda know the basics? Anyway, use that as the basis for my knowledge of the source material as you go into my review.

ARC Review: The Iron Sword by Julie Kagawa

Happy Monday y’all! Man, I cannot believe that January is going by as quickly as it is! It’s already the end of the month and it feels like the year just began. On one hand, it’s a good thing, since there are so many great books coming out in 2022, but on the other hand, 2023, which used to feel like just a dream is 1/12 of the way closer now. But in terms of books, one of the great books coming out tomorrow, February 1st, is The Iron Sword by Julie Kagawa. This is book 2 in the Iron Fey: Evenfall series and I read book 1 last year and it was super fun. It’s a spinoff of the original Iron Fey series and the Iron Fey spinoff, and the first series of Iron Fey books I’ve read. As always, thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of The Iron Sword!

The Iron Sword 4/5 Stars
