Blog Tour: Cast in Firelight by Dana Swift

Thank you so much to TBR and Beyond Tours for having me as a part of their Cast In Firelight tour (and for Delacorte and Netgalley for making it happen)! Make sure you check out the rest of the tour by following that link so you can see everyone else’s great posts! Also! even better! With this amazing tour, there’s a giveaway for a finished final copy of the book, so make sure you go enter that (unfortunately, this giveaway is US only, so to my international readers, I’m sorry about that).

I really enjoyed this book- it was such a fun, easy fantasy read and it had so much great Indian-ness in it, which I loved. My stop on the tour features both a review and my top five reasons to read Cast in Firelight, so I’ll do my review first and the reasons second!

ARC Review: The Camelot Betrayal by Kiersten White

Happy release week to The Camelot Betrayal, the second book in the Camelot Rising series by Kiersten White! This book came out on Tuesday and I’m super thankful to Random House Children’s/Delacorte Press and Netgalley for letting me read an ARC of this book! I love everything about Arthurian mythology, and I enjoyed book one in this series, so I was super excited about book two- and let’s be real, it was even better than book one was!

ARC Review: The Lucky Ones by Liz Lawson

Hey y’all- how’s everyone in the US’s third official week of self isolation going? They’ve been working on re-paving the road outside my house for the past week almost (since last Wednesday), so that’s been a little loud and annoying, but besides that, things have been slowly but surely getting a little bit more normal. The dog is getting used to us being home all the time, which he’s not super happy about haha- he just wants to be left alone- and I’m finally finding the balance between working and doing other things like reading, working out, and watching TV (and ensuring that all the TV I watch isn’t just corona virus related news coverage, but I’ll write another post about the TV I’m watching). One of the books I finished recently was the Lucky Ones by Liz Lawson- thank you so much to NetGalley and Delacorte Press for giving me the opportunity to read and review an early copy of this book!
