Happy Friday y’all! I’m so excited about a long weekend! Wooo for more time for reading! I was supposed to have a pool day this weekend, but it’s supposed to rain most of the weekend and be in the 60s, so definitely not pool weather, but for sure reading weather! Speaking of reading, I was transported back to Valeria this week with Royal Trouble by Jennifer Bonds (thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read an e-ARC of this book) and man y’all, I love Valeria and this royal family. (Also, side note, this is book two in a series- if you haven’t read book 1 yet, don’t read this review- read my review for book one, then read book one, and then come back here).

The premise of this book sounded so cool- it reminded me so much of that show White Collar, and y’all, I loved White Collar. Art Crimes is such an underrated and super cool part of the FBI and there should definitely be more books about it! A Surrealist Affair, unfortunately, was not my favorite.

This book was a super cute, quick romance novel that looks like it might be the beginning of a new series about a set of royal siblings in a made up country called Valeria and how they end up getting their HEAs, so definitely super cute!

Happy Black Friday y’all! This year, everything is different, in that normally on Black Friday (or well, on Thanksgiving night, once all the black Friday sales are really starting), my mom and I used to go to the mall and just walk around, watching people go crazy buying things. This year, we stayed home and watched football and played with the dog and I ordered a pair of boots from Nordstrom Rack for the third time (because the past two times I had ordered them, Rack had canceled my order due to “inventory issues”).
On Wednesday morning (before starting all of my Thanksgiving cooking), I finished another Christmas romance and it was definitely cute! Thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read it early. It wasn’t like the rest that I’ve read recently- Write Before Christmas features older main characters (Matt and Dani are in their 40s) so that was a nice change and it was shorter- so more like a novella.
