Happy Sunday y’all! Today is a super cold and snowy day here in NC, so it’s the perfect day to curl up with a book (or to tell y’all about a book)! Thank you so much to Turn the Page Tours for having me as a part of their tour for Daughter of the Moon Goddess! My stop on the bookstagram portion of the tour took place on the 8th, but today, I’m going to be telling you my favorite things about Daughter of the Moon Goddess. As always, thank you to the publisher, Harper Voyager US, for sponsoring this tour. Now, onto the good stuff!
Happy Thursday y’all! I hope everyone’s doing well! I’m taking a much needed day off- no apple picking though because the weather’s gross, but I’m going to be running a bunch of errands and relaxing, so I think that’s worth it for sure.
Thank you so much to Tor and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of A Spindle Splintered! I’ve heard such great things about Alix Harrow’s books, so I was super excited to read this one. I didn’t realize how short it was until I started reading it (I think it’s only about like 130 or so pages), but I didn’t feel like it was short while the story was being told, so that was amazing! A Spindle Splintered came out on October 5th (along with like a bazillion other incredible books), so make sure you go out and grab it after you read my review!
You know how sometimes you read a book that’s just so incredibly amazing and then you kind of don’t know what to do with yourself afterwards? I felt that way when I read Where Dreams Descend last year and it happened again when I finished When Night Breaks. Thank you so much to Wednesday books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book! Make sure y’all go out and grab this one tomorrow (and if you haven’t read Where Dreams Descend yet, make sure you grab that one first since it’s the first book in the duology and you’ll 100% be lost without it).
Happy release day to Small Favors and thank you so much to Delacorte Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of it! This book was one I fell in love with as soon as I saw the cover of it, so I’m very excited for everyone to be able to read it!
Thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Pirate’s Promise by Lisa Kessler! This book is the 5th book in the Sentinels of Savannah series (but I haven’t read any of the other books in the series, so don’t feel like you have to) and it comes out on the 26th, so make sure you run and grab it then!
Thank you so much to Orbit Books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of the Jasmine Throne by Tasha Suri! This month has been ridiculously busy, so even though this book came out on June 8th, I finally finished it last night and OMG it was sooooo good!!!
Ahhh y’all I finished the audiobook for Namesake and I have allllll the thoughts! I absolutely loved Fable last year (thank you Wednesday Books for letting me read an ARC of it!), so I tried to get an ARC of Namesake this year, and when I couldn’t, I grabbed the audiobook via scribd as soon as it came out and OMG it was so good!
Namesake 5/5 Stars
Here’s the summary of Namesake from Goodreads for you (and then we’re going to talk alllll about this book, so stop reading my review and go read Namesake instead if you don’t want any spoilers):
Thank you so much to Terminal Tours for having me as a part of the City of Spells blog tour and to Feiwel & Friends for making this blog tour happen in the first place! Make sure y’all go check out all of the amazing posts throughout the week because there are definitely going to be some great posts out there! City of Spells comes out today, March 9th, so make sure to go grab it as soon as you can!
Thank you so much to Turn the Page Tours and Entangled Teen for having me as a part of the Covet tour! I devoured Crave and Crush in about a day each, so I was sure I was going to love Covet when it came out on March 2nd (especially since I love Hudson and Grace) and I wasn’t disappointed at all!
Special shoutout to Turn the Page Tours in general- there were some shipping issues/delays and my post was originally supposed to go live on March 3rd, but I didn’t get my copy of Covet until then, so there was no way for me to read it, review it, and put together some of my favorite quotes for y’all by then, so Nikole was so nice and accommodating and let me switch my post to today instead. If y’all are ever looking to work with a book tour company, I highly recommend Turn the Page!
Also, make sure you check out all of the other great posts on the tour– AND there’s even a giveaway for a finished copy of Covet that ends on Monday, March 8th, so for sure get in on that! (USA only, unfortunately)
Thank you so much to Wednesday Books and Netgalley for letting me read an e-ARC of Down Comes the Night! It came out on March 2nd (with a bunch of other amazing books), so make sure you go check it out ASAP!
