Happy August y’all! I’m hoping to get a June and July review and August TBR post written/out sometime soon since I totally dropped the ball on that in July (and I love those kinds of posts), but until then, let’s get back to reviews! Today, I have a review for an ARC I just finished today- The Dating Dare by Jayci Lee! This book comes out tomorrow, August 3, so definitely get on grabbing it ASAP! And thank you so much to St. Martin’s Griffin and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book!
Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of What If You & Me! This is the second book in the Say Everything series by Roni Loren and while I didn’t love book one (Yes & I Love You), I knew I was going to really like this book, because it was Andi’s story and I wasn’t wrong.
Thank you so much to Montlake and Netgalley for letting me read a copy of Maybe We Will by Melissa Foster! I didn’t realize it when I grabbed it on Netgalley, but this is a spinoff series from two of my favorite Melissa Foster series, Sugar Lake and Harmony Point (which in themselves are spinoff series of each other), so that was amazing! It also has characters from some of her other series which I haven’t read, so if you’re a Melissa Foster fan, you’re definitely in for a treat with Maybe We Will!
Thank you so much to Entangled publishing and Netgalley for letting me read My Sweet Enemy early! This was the perfect, most adorable rom com and the best pre-Valentine’s Day treat! Y’all should for sure check it out (and make sure you have some chocolate or ice cream next to you, because after reading about a chocolatier, you’re for sure going to want some). Today’s the release day for My Sweet Enemy, so make sure you go grab it whenever/wherever you can!
Thank you so much to Forever (Grand Central Publishing) for giving me a chance to read and review an e-ARC of Don’t Look Back (and thanks to NetGalley for making it happen). I’ve been reading so many action romances this year, so when I saw that this too was an action romance, I pounced on it! Don’t Look Back is the third book in the Texas Justice series and I haven’t read the first two books, so I don’t think it’s super necessary to read them in order.
Happy release day to A Royal Disaster and thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read an e-ARC of it early! This book was a super cute, quick romance novel that looks like it might be the beginning of a new series about a set of royal siblings in a made up country called Valeria and how they end up getting their HEAs, so definitely super cute!
Happy Black Friday y’all! This year, everything is different, in that normally on Black Friday (or well, on Thanksgiving night, once all the black Friday sales are really starting), my mom and I used to go to the mall and just walk around, watching people go crazy buying things. This year, we stayed home and watched football and played with the dog and I ordered a pair of boots from Nordstrom Rack for the third time (because the past two times I had ordered them, Rack had canceled my order due to “inventory issues”).
On Wednesday morning (before starting all of my Thanksgiving cooking), I finished another Christmas romance and it was definitely cute! Thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read it early. It wasn’t like the rest that I’ve read recently- Write Before Christmas features older main characters (Matt and Dani are in their 40s) so that was a nice change and it was shorter- so more like a novella.
Thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read an ARC of Kissing Lessons by Stefanie London early! I read Bad Bachelor by Stefanie London earlier this year and I really liked her writing style, so I was very excited to read Kissing Lessons and it definitely did not disappoint- for sure what I needed during the craziness of election results week!
Thank you so much to Inkyard Press for having me as a part of their blog tour for the Code for Love and Heartbreak! I’m running so behind on reading all of the books I really need to be reading, so even though this book came out on Tuesday (the 6th) and I was trying to have it read and reviewed by yesterday, I wasn’t able to get to it until today BUT I started it early this afternoon and I finished it so fast because it was such a fun/quick read!
Thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read an early copy of the Duplicate Bride! This book comes out today, so make sure you go check it out! I’ve always thought being an identical twin would be super cool- especially the whole switching places with said identical twin thing but the two sets of identical twins I know hated that and hated getting confused with each other, so they always did everything they could to be as different as possible, which was sometimes hard because they somehow always had very similar interests (one set was super athletic and played all the sports and the other set was super creative and they both sang and did musical theater). Anyway, overall, the Duplicate Bride was a cute, fun read that I enjoyed!
