Happy Monday y’all! Man, I cannot believe that January is going by as quickly as it is! It’s already the end of the month and it feels like the year just began. On one hand, it’s a good thing, since there are so many great books coming out in 2022, but on the other hand, 2023, which used to feel like just a dream is 1/12 of the way closer now. But in terms of books, one of the great books coming out tomorrow, February 1st, is The Iron Sword by Julie Kagawa. This is book 2 in the Iron Fey: Evenfall series and I read book 1 last year and it was super fun. It’s a spinoff of the original Iron Fey series and the Iron Fey spinoff, and the first series of Iron Fey books I’ve read. As always, thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of The Iron Sword!
Happy Tuesday and happy release day to The Kindred (and so many other books- seriously, this year looks so amazing book wise)! Thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this one- I was really excited about it based on the summary, but this just wasn’t the book for me (unfortunately) BUT keep reading to see why, because the reasons I wasn’t the biggest fan of it could be the reasons you love it. I definitely think that there are a lot of people who are going to love The Kindred, and even though I wasn’t a huge fan, I still recommend reading it!
Happy Tuesday y’all! This has been such a long week already and I’m so ready to sleep and the weekend- unfortunately, it’s still a few days off haha but we can make it! Happy release day to The Keeper of Night! I was able to read an eARC of this one (thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me do that) and man y’all, this was such a cool book!
Happy Wednesday y’all! It’s super cloudy here today and I was supposed to go apple picking tomorrow, but it’s supposed to storm in the mountains where the orchard I always go to is, so it’s looking like I’m going to have to skip the apple picking and grab them from a farm stand or the grocery store.
So many books came out yesterday, so I have a review for another one of them ready to go for y’all today. I really enjoyed the other books I read by Mara Rutherford, so I was very excited to give Luminous a go! Thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book.
Thank you so much to Inkyard Press for having me as a part of their blog tour for These Feathered Flames and for giving me access to an eARC of it via NetGalley! I don’t know much about the myth of the firebird, but I definitely liked this book! Also! Today is its release day, so make sure you go and grab your copy ASAP! Amazon|Barnes & Noble|IndieBound
Thank you so much to Inkyard Press for having me as a part of their blog tour for The Iron Raven by Julie Kagawa! I haven’t read any of her other books and even though I knew this was the beginning of a spin off series from her earlier books, I figured that I would read it anyway and if I liked it, then I’d give the earlier books a chance… well it looks like my TBR just got longer because I’m definitely about to read all of the other books set in this world! It’s got everything I love in it- how the heck have I not already read them???
Thank you so much to Inkyard Press for having me as a part of their Winter 2021 Blog Tour! Today, I’m going to be posting about This Golden Flame, but keep an eye out for my posts for The Iron Raven and These Feathered Flames!
Thank you so much to Inkyard Press for having me as a part of their blog tour for the Code for Love and Heartbreak! I’m running so behind on reading all of the books I really need to be reading, so even though this book came out on Tuesday (the 6th) and I was trying to have it read and reviewed by yesterday, I wasn’t able to get to it until today BUT I started it early this afternoon and I finished it so fast because it was such a fun/quick read!
Thank you so much to Inkyard Press for asking me to be a part of the blog tour for Kingdom of Sea and Stone by Mara Rutherford! This is the sequel to Crown of Coral and Pearl, which I read last year and it was so good, so I was super excited to read this book, especially with the way Crown of Coral and Pearl ended and I definitely was not disappointed in Kingdom of Sea and Stone at all!
Thank you so much to Inkyard press for reaching out to me to read/review an e-ARC of The Glass Queen early! I read an ARC of The Evil Queen last year, and while there was so much potential in that book, I feel like execution was lacking. In this book, there was also so much potential and while it was executed better than The Evil Queen, there were still a lot of parts that gave me whiplash, but overall, I did think it was a fun read.
