Happy October y’all! I’m so excited for October! It’s such a fun month- fall really begins, I always try and go apple picking, and it’s Halloween time! And, even better, it’s the beginning of the most wonderful time of the year- the holidays! I’m a big fan.
You know what else I was a big fan of? All of the great books I read in September! Even though September was a ridiculously busy month at work and with the fam, I was able to read a good amount of books. AND most of them were really good, so that’s definitely a great sign for the rest of the year.
Happy Friday y’all! I really wanted to get this review out on Wednesday but man y’all, this book took me a little longer to read than I expected (not because I didn’t like it or anything, but because I was too tired to read on Tuesday, didn’t read too much on Wednesday, and then finally was able to carve out reading time yesterday). Iron Widow was one of those books that pulled me in because of the amazing cover and kept me in because of the incredible writing and the really cool plot. Thank you so much to Penguin Teen/Penguin Random House Canada and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book! Iron Widow came out on September 21, so make sure you go grab a copy of the book as soon as you’re done reading my review!
Happy Thursday y’all! I was hoping to be able to write my Iron Widow review for y’all today, but unfortunately, I haven’t finished the book yet, so we’re just going to have to wait another day on that and instead, y’all are going to be getting a Netgalley update today! I have so many amazing books waiting for me on there (and not a lot of time to read them) so let’s get to talking about all the books I have! Also, side note, my current feedback ratio is 78% and I’m really proud of that haha
