April Wrap Up and May TBR

Happy May y’all! April went by so fast! It’s most likely because I got a new job and I’m trying to get used to a new company and new products and a new team and reading and blogging and working out and cooking and all of normal life on top of that is more stressful than I expected! Thankfully, I think I’m getting the hang of it, plus I really love my new job, so that’s always a plus! Also! One of my best friends from high school who I’ve been friends with since I was like 14 or 15, so 13 or 14 years now, got engaged in April and she asked me and my other best friend from high school to be her co-maids of honor and I’ve never done that before, but I’m the most excited! We’re working on bridesmaids dresses, centerpieces, dress shopping, and bachelorette party planning right now, so lots going on!

April was also an amazing month for me book wise! I read the most books! I read 21 books in April, which is the most I’ve read in a month yet! A lot of them were either ARCs or for blog tours, so I’ll have links for those for y’all. I really liked pretty much all of the books I read in April, so that was also a huge plus!

ARC Review: Like a Boss by Anne Harper

Thank you so much to Entangled Amara and Netgalley for letting me read Like a Boss early! I loved the other book I read by Anne Harper, so I was really excited about reading Like a Boss and I definitely wasn’t disappointed!

March Wrap Up and April TBR

Happy end of March/beginning of April y’all! Can you believe that we’re a quarter into this year already? Crazy! I’m super excited about how March turned out because I was able to get my first dose of the Moderna vaccine, I tried a new chocolate chip cookie recipe, which turned out really good, I finally finished knitting my brother’s Christmas present (only a few months late… it’s a scarf and it’s the most complicated pattern I’ve ever knit and it turned out so good!) and I ate all the good food! Books wise, while I didn’t exactly follow my TBR, I was a lot more relaxed this month and that was so nice! I didn’t feel stressed about finishing any books, which was so nice!
