Happy Friday y’all! I’m so excited for the weekend! I feel like these weeks have been so busy, so I’m always the most excited for the weekends to be able to relax. Do y’all have any fun plans this weekend? One thing y’all should definitely do on Tuesday is go out and grab This Vicious Grace by Emily Thiede! Wednesday Books sent me an eARC to review and man y’all, this was such a cool book, and y’all are definitely going to want to read it when it comes out on the 28th!
Happy Tuesday y’all and happy release day to Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score! I’m barely getting this in under the wire, but man, today has been such a busy day! I was hoping that work was going to be a little less busy today so I would have a little break to write/post this review, but that didn’t happen and then after work, I was too tired to do anything- a real Tuesday for sure. ANYWAY, I’m so excited to talk to you guys about this book because I loved it so much! Thank you so much to Forever and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book!
Happy Wednesday y’all! And happy release week to A Mirror Mended! Thank you so much to Tordotcom and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book! This is the second book in the Fractured Fables series- I read the first one last year and I thought it was a super interesting concept, so I was really excited to read A Mirror Mended, especially because I love all of the different ways that Snow White can be written!
Happy Friday y’all! Man, this has been such a rough week because I’ve been sick since Wednesday and it’s been the worst. I’ve done three at home Covid tests and they’ve all been negative, but I think it might be time to go in and take a PCR test, because I have no idea what else this could be! Let me know if y’all have any experience with this or any recommendations for ways to feel better because I’m miserable.
Besides being the end of the work week, today’s a great day because it’s my stop on the TBR and Beyond Tours Game of Strength and Storm tour! Make sure y’all go check out all of the other stops on the tour!
Happy Friday y’all! Man, I am so excited that it’s finally Friday because your girl is the most ready for a weekend! But, before we get into the weekend, let’s talk about The Merciless Ones. Thank you so much to TBR and Beyond Tours for having me as a part of their tour for The Merciless Ones. I absolutely loved The Gilded Ones when I read it back in 2020, so I was the most excited to read this one and get back into Deka’s world. If y’all haven’t read the Folded Ones yet, make sure you go grab that one so you can read The Merciless Ones ASAP!
Happy release week to Hide by Kiersten White! Hide is Kiersten White’s first adult book and man was it a great one! Thank you so much to Del Rey Books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Hide!
Happy release day to Spark of Ash by Molly E. Lee! This is the third book in the Ember of Night series (and the final book in that series) and I thought it was a great ending to this trilogy. Thank you so much to Entangled Teen and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Spark of Ash!
Happy Tuesday y’all and happy release day to All Fired Up by Dylan Newton! I read Dylan Newton’s other book with this group of characters, How Sweet it is, last year and I loved it, so I was the most excited to dive back into this world and hang out with these characters again. Thank you so much to Forever and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book!
Happy Tuesday y’all and happy release day to Starry-Eyed Love, the second book in the Spark House series by Helena Hunting! I went on a reading binge this weekend/yesterday, and I started reading Starry-Eyed Love yesterday morning and finished it before the evening was over (it would have been earlier, but, you know, work was a thing, so I had to focus on that during the day). Thank you so much to the team at St. Martin’s Griffin and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book!
Happy May y’all! I can’t believe that we’re already in the fifth month of the year! That’s crazy! April was a super busy month for me, life wise, so I didn’t get to read quite as much as I was wanting to or expecting to- I only read 7 books- but I think once we talk about everything I did over the month, the lack of reading will make sense haha. Let’s start with the fact that one of my best friends from high school got married in April! Woohoo! It was so much fun, but since I was in the wedding party, I was busy all day Thursday-Saturday, so all I wanted to do on Sunday was nap (and massage my feet because they were hurting so bad). Besides that, I went on vacation to DC one weekend, so that took out 3 reading days, and I started working out at the gym again! TV wise, I didn’t really watch anything special, but I did watch Endgame on Peacock Plus, which was fun, mindless watching. Now, onto the good stuff- the books!
