Happy Tuesday and release day to Bold Love by Lauren Accardo! Today is a very exciting day for me because it’s my birthday, so I’m excited to share this book with y’all today because I really liked it! Thank you so much to Berkley and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Bold Love.
It’s time for another edition of my 2021 recap! I mapped out exactly which posts I’m going to make to finish my 2021 recap and I’m excited about all of them, so hopefully y’all enjoy them! We’re going to start with a classic: my favorite reads.
Happy Sunday y’all! Today is a super cold and snowy day here in NC, so it’s the perfect day to curl up with a book (or to tell y’all about a book)! Thank you so much to Turn the Page Tours for having me as a part of their tour for Daughter of the Moon Goddess! My stop on the bookstagram portion of the tour took place on the 8th, but today, I’m going to be telling you my favorite things about Daughter of the Moon Goddess. As always, thank you to the publisher, Harper Voyager US, for sponsoring this tour. Now, onto the good stuff!
Happy Monday y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was way too short (as usual), but enjoyable! I didn’t get as much reading done as I wanted to nor did I write any of the reviews that I wanted to, but I guess that’s what the week’s for, right?
Anyway, on to today’s review! I’m obsessed with the Pine Hollow books by Lizzie Shane- I read all three of them so quickly during the time I had off around Christmas and New Years (feel free to read my reviews for book 1, The Twelve Dogs of Christmas, and book 2, Once Upon a Puppy, before you read my review for this one) and man y’all they were so good! I cannot wait to read book four when it comes out this year! As always, thank you so much to the wonderful folks at Forever for sending me a copy of To All the Dogs I’ve Loved Before- y’all are the best!
Happy Tuesday and happy release day to The Kindred (and so many other books- seriously, this year looks so amazing book wise)! Thank you so much to Inkyard Press and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this one- I was really excited about it based on the summary, but this just wasn’t the book for me (unfortunately) BUT keep reading to see why, because the reasons I wasn’t the biggest fan of it could be the reasons you love it. I definitely think that there are a lot of people who are going to love The Kindred, and even though I wasn’t a huge fan, I still recommend reading it!
Happy Monday y’all! I have three books to review this week since they all come out on 1/4, so let’s see if I can get them all done (I’ve also only read two of the three, so we’ll see how this turns out). The first of the three is, you guessed it, Love at First Spite by Anna E Collins! Thank you so much to Graydon House and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book!
Thank you so much to Forever for being such an amazing publishing house and for being so great to your bloggers and sending me all three of the Pine Hollow books by Lizzie Shane ❤ (I love Estelle and Dana- they’re really the best!) I was so excited to read them because they combine two of my favorite things- small town contemporary romances and dogs! What else could you ask for in a book???
Happy Tuesday y’all and happy release day to Bold Fortune by M. M. Crane (and I 100% had to go into my calendar to see what day of the week it was today- being on holiday break means that I 100% cannot keep my days straight). Thank you so much to Berkley Books and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of this book!
Happy Monday y’all! I hope everyone had a great weekend (whether you celebrate Christmas or not- my family celebrates the commercialized version of Christmas where we get each other gifts, but we’re not Christian, so we don’t do any of the religious aspects). The weather was gorgeous here all weekend, so we spent a good amount of time outside (my dog loved running around in the backyard, terrorizing the squirrels). All of that family time and enjoying the outside time meant one very important thing though- no time to read! I have quite a few books I need to catch up on (lots of books sent to me from Forever and Grand Central Publishing that I need to read and review) and I have a good number of books to get ahead of for 2022- 3 of my ARCs come out on the 4th and I have 7 that I need to read for the 18th, plus I have 6 books checked out from the library, and there are some backlist ARCs that I was hoping to get to before the end of the year, so lots of reading to do!
Let’s talk through the books I’m (hopefully) going to be reading in the next week (so through January 3rd, which I know goes into 2022, but shhh, for this exercise, I’m going to count them):
