ARC Review: Uncharted by Adriana Anders

Happy Tuesday y’all! Tuesdays are always hard days in my house because the landscapers come our house plus 2-3 of the houses around us and while my dog doesn’t mind personal lawnmowers, as soon as you get an industrial strength lawnmower out there, he thinks something is attacking his house, so he starts going nuts. I’ve tried training him, but he doesn’t even want food, and he’s a very food motivated dog, so today, we decided to go on a 2.2 mile loop of the neighborhood when the lawnmowers were here (since my meeting schedule was super light) and now he’s passed out, so I think it was a great decision!

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Uncharted. This book came out on August 31st (oof, finally starting to catch up on eARC reviews over here!), so definitely go grab it as soon as you read my review!

ARC Review: Witch Please by Ann Aguirre

Woo it’s Thursday! And I took tomorrow off of work, so it’s like Friday for me, which I’m the most excited for! I’m slowly but surely catching up with all of the books I need to read and review, so that’s good (now I’m only maybe like 4-5 behind instead of 8-9 behind) so another three day weekend should hopefully help out with that.

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Witch Please! This book came our on September 7th, so definitely go check it out as soon as you’ve finished reading my review!

ARC Review: Like Cats and Dogs by Kate McMurray

Thank you so much to Netgalley and Sourcebooks Casablanca for letting me read an eARC of Like Cats and Dogs early! As a dog person (I’m ridiculously allergic to cats- my throat starts closing up if I’m around them for too long), I was immediately drawn to the dog side of the cover, but the idea of a cat cafe has always been interesting and I love when kitten videos pop up on Instagram, so I was super excited about reading this one and while it wasn’t my favorite book, it was definitely ok!

ARC Review: Winner Takes All by Sandra Kitt

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read an eARC of Winner Takes All! I thought the premise of this book was super interesting, because people are always thinking about what they would do if they win the lottery and the benefits of it, but no one ever thinks about any of the consequences and I really liked that aspect of this book (along with the romance, of course).

ARC Review: Warm Nights in Magnolia Bay by Babette de Jongh

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read Warm Nights in Magnolia Bay early! I think this was one of those books that I requested without really reading the summary and while it wasn’t amazing, amazing, it was a solid romance read that had good characters and a pretty interesting premise with enough world building and introduction of characters for next books for it to be a decent series starter.

Warm Nights in Magnolia Bay 3.5/5 Stars

ARC Review: Yes & I Love You by Roni Loren

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read an e-ARC of Yes & I Love You! I requested this book on Netgalley without really reading the summary- I just saw the cover (and loved it) and saw that it was from Sourcebooks Casablanca, and I’ve liked every book of theirs that I’ve read so far, so I figured why not. In general, it was an OK decision.

ARC Review: Paws for Love by Mara Wells

Thank you so much to Sourcebooks Casablanca and Netgalley for letting me read an e-ARC of Paws for Love! I love dogs and books with dogs and I’ve recently been more and more into greyhounds (well Italian greyhounds really since they’re so funny and all over Instagram) so this was the perfect book for me! Paws for Love is the third book in the Fur Haven Dog Park series and even though I haven’t read any of the other books in the series, I really enjoyed Paws for Love.

Paws for Love 4/5 Stars
